Outside Circle – Right Foot

A foundational ball control skill that builds touch, coordination, and control using the outside of your foot.

The outside of the foot is often neglected in early training. Learning to move the ball with it — in a circle, under control — develops the fine motor habits that show up in real game moments.

  1. Place the ball in front of you
  2. Use the outside of your right foot to push the ball in a circle around your body
  3. Keep the ball close — no big kicks
  4. Stay balanced on your left foot as you move
  5. Complete the circle and go again

Focus on: contact quality, not speed. Slow and controlled builds the habit faster than fast and sloppy.

“Use the outside of your foot. Stay tight to the ball.”
