Sole Roll

Place your sole on top of the ball and roll it side to side. Simple movement, high value. The sole roll builds the kind of soft, controlled touch that makes everything else easier.

This is Ball Boss Skill 2. Practise it here. Prove it when you’re tested.



  1. Place the sole of your right foot flat on top of the ball
  2. Roll the ball slowly to the right
  3. Let it come back and roll it to the left
  4. Keep the ball moving — don’t trap or stop it
  5. Switch feet and repeat

Focus on: keeping the sole flat on the ball. Don’t use the heel or toe.
