Outside Bent and Placed
The outside of the foot produces the opposite bend to an inside-foot shot. It’s harder to control — but once you can hit it, you can go to corners that most players can’t reach without changing their body shape.
This is Shooting Drill 3.

Section titled “How to Do It”- Approach from a straighter angle than the inside-foot shot
- Plant your standing foot alongside the ball
- Strike with the outside of your foot — top outside, wrapping the other direction
- Follow through down and across
Focus on: a firm ankle. The outside of the foot is a small surface — keep it locked.
